After lunch, we were feeling the heat and the mileage. We rested in the shade as we waited for everyone to arrive. This hike featured a baby squirrel that we found on the trail. I named it "Hiker." This hike was our second D1 - - a moderate 1.5 mile trek, with just 413' of elevation. ~ Joyce
