A seldom used trail, but certainly worth a visit. Most of the hikers had never seen Johnson Ferry North, so it was fun for them to see where it ended - - at the Morgan Falls Dam. We could look across the river to the dog park or to the hydroelectric plant next to the dam.  

The creek crossings across the pipes were a little scary for Gayle and me . . . so Norm kindly lent us his shoulder for a little psychic support. The others crossed with no difficulty.

In the spring and summer, there is an abundance of poison ivy near the trail, but this was a perfect time for hiking through this area. We finished the trek to the dam and back in just under 2 hourr - - perfect timing. ~ Joyce
