Write Up:
It was a great day to do a tour of the property of Kennesaw Battlefield. We had comfortable temps with winds out of the Northeast.The group pretty well covered all of the trails except for the north end. We collected hikers at all roads, junctions and creeks with no wait - everyone kept up! Didn't see any deer, but we did run into a horse rider on the Kolb Farm Loop Trail. Riders do have the right away same as uphill hikers and joggers. Amhir missed the hike running late - you have to get to the V/C early to park! We also missed our favorite hiker Mary Beth ( she took another event).Welcome back Steve T. from his trip from Glacier Park. Looking forward to Sweetwater Park next Saturday.
