Itinerary:

Join me for a long day of hiking the beautiful 13 +/- mile Coosa Backcountry Trail.

This is a strenuous loop trail and only those in excellent physical condition should participate. This hike is recommended for only advanced hikers with previous long distance hikes of 10 or more miles in the mountains.  If you're not sure you can handle the distance and speed, this is probably not a hike for you.

We will plan to stop at one of the scenic spots of the trail for a quick lunch  around 12:30 PM.
