Note: This is an "EXPLORATORY" trip. This means that there are parts of this trip, or perhaps the whole trip, that is new to your Trip Leader(s). However, they are confident that this will not be an issue.
This note is here so that you can make an informed decision. When a Trip Leader isn't personally familiar with a trip, there is an increased chance of things not going as planned and you need to be prepared. The Trip Leader may have additional details in the itinerary.

Itinerary:

This is a scenic and low traffic bike ride starting at the Budweiser Plant in Cartersville, GA.  They allow bike riders to park at the plant and ride  several different distance options they have marked out: 25, 40, 60, 100.  Our plan is to do the 40 mile route with a moderate pace.  We will plan to stay together unless someone wants to go faster.

All type bikes are welcome though we would recommend a road bike or hybrid bike but if you can keep with with another bike, more power to you.

Budweiser lets riders park in the lot to the right.  Park on the side away from the factory along the edge of the lot (they are closed on Sundays). Please do not litter, do not change in the open and do not pee in their bushes.

NOTE: For safety, helmet required to be worn during this event.  No helmet, no bike ride.

After the ride we are planning an optional dinner stop, where we can enjoy another Bud! We can discuss and vote on location.

Required Items to Bring:

There is no water or bathrooms along the route so we suggest bringing your own water or Gatorade and snacks.  There is said to be a small store along the route but because this is exploritory we suggest you not count on that.

Recommended Items to Bring:
Use our Event Checklists to make sure you have everything you need.

Water or Gatorade, snacks as needed.
