Itinerary:

Come out and explore the Trails of Peachtree City. Meeting spot is the fountain in front of the library We will hike around Lake Peachtree following the 10k route. The path is paved all the way. We will walk over a boardwalk to a bird viewing platform in the marshy area. This is considered a D3 only because of the miles. The trail is mainly flat. Our group will be hiking at a moderate pace. There are over 100 miles of golf cart trails in Peachtree City. These trails are shared with hikers, joggers and bicyclists. The trails go through wooded and residential areas. I usually see various birds while hiking these paths. Join me for a walk in this unique rural but yet urban area right outside of Atlanta. We can have lunch after the hike for those interested. There is also a fabulous brewery close by.It is called Line Creek Brewery. We can go for a beer if anyone is interested.
