Itinerary:

Looking for a simple weekday hike that is invigorating, fun, scenic, and not a far drive away or an all day event?  If so, join us for this 16 mile loop hike to Springer Mountain and back!

We will plan to start the hike at 8 AM from the top of the Amicalola Falls parking lot and hike the 'AT' Approach to Springer Mountain and back.  We will take breaks as needed and at the top of Springer to view the surrounding mountains and snap a group pic.  We will plan to hike at a moderate pace.

On our way back, we will pass by the Len Foote Hike Inn and take a quick break there.  We will continue down the Len Foote Trail to the car parking lot.  We should be back in Atlanta early afternoon depending on group's hiking speed.

Notes

No carpool

No sweeper

Please plan on bringing a  snack to eat during the hike and enough water to drink.

Itinerary is subject to change before and during event.

Finish time is only an estimate and based on several factors - hiking speed, breaks, etc.
