Itinerary:

Join us for beautiful views of Mount Yonah. We will hike to the top of Pink Mountain and Mount Yonah.

Pink Mountain, is a side trip to add some mileage to what is usually a short but strenuous hike  to the top of Yonah.

At 3166' Mount Yonah has great views over the surrounding area; this provides excellent vistas of the countryside.

Our route will follow the main trail approximately half way up Mount Yonah where we will take a right and head up to Pink Mountain, on the way back to Yonah we will take a detour to “The Boulder”

Please Note: in case of rain we will not do Rock climbing part.

Please note: We will do some rock climbing using existing cables, while this is an optional for those interested to participate, others will have to wait for participant to return approximately 30 to 45 minutes, so have this in mind before signing.

PLEASE NOTE:  THE CABLES HAVE COUPLE OF SPLINTERS,  IT WAS TAPED LAST TIME I WAS THERE,  I STRONGLY RECOMEND TO BRING GLOVES.

After visiting these two great features of Mount Yonah we will back track and follow an alternative trail to the top.

Once at the top we will spend some time enjoying the view, getting some photos, eating our snacks and then proceed around the mountain to take in all of the views. On the way back we will have an option to get any last minute photos before we descend back down to the car park.

We will hike at a moderate pace with plenty of stops to provide great photo opportunities.

The event start at 10:45 sharp.

Optional dinner at THAI restaurant on GA 400 across from outlet mall.
