| Itinerary: |
| Whether or not you are with someone on Valentines day, one thing to keep in mind is that Nature doesn't care. Join a fun group of folks for some easy backpacking on the CRT. After driving to the trail head at Russell Bridge, we'll hike about 4.0 miles to Lick Log Falls and set up camp. There are several large areas to set up camp including a great place practically right beside the falls. We'll have lunch and then scout the area and gather enough firewood for the evening. With the remaining daylight, feel free to hang by camp or we'll form several groups for small hikes around camp. (There are some other falls with in .5-1 mile of Lick Log Falls) As night falls, we'll hang around the fire, have are dinner, and talk turkey. Jay may even bring his trusty backpacking guitar and sing a song or two. On Sunday, we'll take our leisurely time to have breakfast and break down camp. We'll head back to Russell Bridge no later than 11am. |

| Carpool Cost: | |
Approximate vehicle expense for this event is $76.96 (calculated at total miles (208) * $0.370, effective Wednesday, September 08, 2010). This is based on the current gas, maintenance, and other costs of $0.370 per mile as stated by the IRS & Cars.com. This should be divided by the total number of people in the vehicle (incl driver). For example: With 4 people in the vehicle, the expense per person on this trip would be $19.24 Alternately your carpool driver may choose to split the maintenance cost plus the actual gas cost among all in the vehicle. Your carpool driver will confirm exactly how much money they require to cover costs. Please split the actual cost among all people in the vehicle.
