We enjoyed a quick jaunt around Island Ford, savoring the sunshine and 70 degree weather. Our days are numbered for after-work hikes. Soon Daylight Saving Time will steal the light from our evenings. But today was glorious, so we clocked some miles and shared lively conversation. We ventured out onto the river rocks and watched a very enthusiastic dog fetching sticks. We climbed the warmup hill for our grand finale. Afterwards, most of us headed to North River Tavern for celebratory beverages, food, and team trivia. Joined by some of the trivia regulars, we snagged first place. Not a bad way to spend an evening at all.
