It was a nice, yet chilly evening to hit the pavement in Atlanta. Eight members met at Candler Park to begin our brisk walk along the Stone Mountain and Freedom Park trails to the Jimmy Carter Center. The center was closed for the day, but we still got to walk around the grounds. There are 52 flags (Mr. B counted them all) that forms a circle in front of the center that kept a few of us wondering about them. Hmmmmm....
Leaving the center, we took a small detour from the original path (due to time constraints) but still managed to come really close to our 4 mile goal. Back at the park, we parted ways with some new friendships forming.
