You know something is up when the event had 11 people signed up one day and ended with 4! Cold temps really shut things down for a few of us...and some of us (ME) even forgot their shoes...so I rode in slippers and socks!! Thankfully I could only feel my feet for the first 12 minutes of the ride. But we still managed to get the full ride in with THREE Marconi repeats. Followed by some KILLER Pi over at Nancy's of Roswell. It's as close to a Chicago style pi you'll get in the south ;) The trail's boardwalk section is still in pieces...so it's still closed and not likely to re-open soon.
Anyway...always double check your load out gear.

Some post ride recovery drinks were in order - IT'S Powerade y'all!!! The changing robe + the slides (I wore during the ride)...can't make this stuff up!
