Write Up:
We had perfect hiking weather this morning. It’s not a secret path anymore. A wooded path at the end of the Bob Callan trail leads to a helicopter pad. See photo album. We went faster than I had anticipated and ended about 30 minutes early. I included photos from AllTrails of our splits and mileage. We had a nice friendly group. We were disappointed at first because we did not see a Blue Heron at his/her usual spot. However, towards the end of our hike we were greeted by a beautiful fly-in and poses by a beautiful Blue Heron. Welcome to first-timer Dawn Britt. Thanks to June for some of the photos.
