Congratulations to Bill S. in doing a fine PTL job co-leading the Vickery Creek hike this evening.  We were delighted to welcome two members to their first hike with the club -- Chris L. and Wayne A.  I think they enjoyed the company of the group just as we enjoyed getting to know them.

A special thanks to Susan for her expertise on the trails.  Without her, those flashlights might have been necessary!  :-)

We had twelve hikers  for what was a sunny, brisk evening for our hike along Vickery Creek.  High water and loud rapids added to the atmosphere and made the hike more enjoyable.  We covered about 3.5 miles, including viewing the dam and navigating the cliffs to arrive back at Roswell Mill by sundown.
