Itinerary:

Dunwoody Nature Center ( http://www.dunwoodynature.org/d efault.asp) has many foot-friendly paths along heavily wooded areas, giving the feeling of really being out in the woods, despite the proximity to civilization surrounding the park.  The park isn't far off 400/Northside Drive, making it very accessible by car.

We will meet at Dunwoody Park which is beside the enterance to the Dunwoody nature Center. We are meeting in the parking lot.  This is the parking lot is beside the Nature Center vistor center lot, and is the lot with a ball field in it. The enterances to each lot are  very close to one another and meet at the trail head should you go to the wrong lot.  After we meet, we will walk the trails at the  nature center and move to the Meadow. We will  take the bridge across Wildcat Creek, another bridge back across, and along the white trail to the Upper Meadow. Then it will be back over the creek, up a steep slope and onto the Woodland Loop Trail. We'll also complete the red trail loop, then descend into the wetlands area to experience the boardwalk.

We will finish our hike near the treehouse to complete a 3-mile hike.

I  Look forward to hiking with everyone!
