Itinerary:
This hike will be a casual hike. Hikers that are comfortable with the trail may go at their own pace. I intend to hike at a pace of about 2.5 miles an hour but I will stop several times for a quick water break for my dog Gracie. We will start at the Pigeon Hill parking lot on Burnt Hickory Rd. We will cross Pigeon hill, hike over Little Kennesaw Mt. to Big Kennesaw Mt. and then down to the Visitors Center for a short break. We will return back the way we came. The total hiking distance is 6 miles with 1800 feet of elevation gain. Please arrive a few minutes early to allow time for parking.

Drive from Atlanta on I 75 to Exit 269. At the bottom of the ramp turn left on Barrett Parkway and proceed approximately 4.5 miles. Turn left on Burnt Hickory Rd and proceed approximately 1.4 miles. The Pigeon Hill parking lot will be on the right.
