Itinerary:

It's my last coordinated hike for the year! So lets hike it out AOC-style!

 

Tucked away in a Tucker neighborhood is Henderson Park with 6 miles of trails. We will be exploring the Red, White and Blue trails, giving us about 4 miles of hiking. We will move at a moderate pace when we can, but take it easy when we need to. There will be roots and rocks on the path, spots that are narrow, rotting steps, stones we need to step on to cross the creek, so please wear hiking boots or shoes with good traction. Please also bring trekking poles or walking stick.

We will meet by the yellowish storage building at the far left side of the parking lot on Henderson Road (see detailed directions below). Please arrive a few minutes early for introductions, so we can leave on time.

Beginner's are welcome. Small to medium size dogs are welcome.

From I-285, get off on EXIT #37 LAVISTA ROAD

Go EAST for 1.5 miles, then turn LEFT onto Henderson Road

Go 1 mile and turn RIGHT into the parking lot
(Look for the rolling gate at the entrance. This is the parking lot for the soccer fields.)


We will be meeting at the far left side of the parking lot by the yellowish storage building.
