Itinerary:

Ready for an easy morning hike - - flat, by the river - - at a very manageable pace?  Join me for this Boardwalk hike down Azalea Drive. 

We'll start our hike at Riverside Park, where there's a large parking lot and restroom facilities. We'll walk along the path under Atlanta Road and access the sidewalk that parallels Azalea Drive.  In  about 1.5 miles, we'll come to the beautiful boardwalk that extends from the entrance at Azalea Park to the Chattahoochee Nature Center on Willeo Rd. - - a distance of .7 miles.   The boardwalk takes a winding route actoss the wetlands, often passing near the Chattahoochee River for some scenic views of the waterway.  This is an out and back hike with an opportunity for a bathroom break at about the halfway point.

Dogs are permitted on this event, but no more than 3 dogs.  If you see that three dogs are already registered, please do not plan to bring yours.  Of course, all dogs must be kept on leash for the entire event.
