Itinerary:

We meet at 9:20 am, and start at 9:30 am from the Visitor Center.

Our pace will be a little faster than moderate. Our route will NOT go over the mountains.

We will follow the east side of the mountain foothill via Cutoff Trail, Camp Brumby Trail, Pigeon Hill Cutoff Trail, Pigeon Hill Trail to Burnt Hickory Road. We will then turn around and follow the same route back to the Visitor Center. There are a few hills along this route but they are short and nothing too strenuous.

I've posted another hiking right before this at the same location to go over the mountains if you like to do some climbing early in the morning.

Most likely you will have to park at the overflow parking lot on Old HWY 41, you will need at least 5 to 10 more minutes to walk from there to the Visitor Center.
