Itinerary:

Join us for an after work paddle on the peaceful and serene Stone Mountain Lake. We will begin the
paddle with some consistent paddling to the less populated far north end of the lake and explore the
water there, then meander back to the put in, making our way around some of the islands, the carillon, the grist mill, the covered bridge, and if time and daylight allows we will visit the waterfall.

This will be a very easy paddle that is suitable for beginners, with the understanding continuous
paddling is required on the flat water lake.

There is an extra kayak, paddle, and PFD available for loan during the paddle for someone who may like to go but who does not have the equipment – please email rosemary.parks@gmail.com before signing up if you would like to use the extra kayak and confirm it is not already promised to someone else.

Social distancing will be observed.

We will have a little twilight picnic after the paddle for anyone who wants to join – bring some food and a camp chair and we can sit by the water and have a little dinner before heading home.
