Itinerary:

Please join me for an early morning hike at Sope Creek (elementary school parking).  We will start our hike promptly at 8:30 a.m. and hike for about 2 1/2 hours and about 6 miles.   Hike will be at a moderate pace.  There are a few rolling hills, nothing super strenous.

Meet at the Sope Creek Elementary School

There are no restrooms at this location

Trip leader requests that all participants follow recommendations for social distancing.  Masks not required but please wear if you feel more comfortable.

AOC limit on this event is 10 hikers - ocassionally (if everybody logs in at once and registers at once) the system has a glitch and may allow more than 10 hikers on the event.  If this does happen I am obligated to keep to the 10 limit and remove the last ones that signed up.  I get notification of time you register and to be fair the first 10 are the only ones that I keep on the roster.  

 

There have been cases of vandalsm to vehicles so leave all valuables at home.

From eastbound Interstate 285

  • Take exit 24, Riverside Drive.
  • Left For 2.3 miles to Johnson Ferry Road.
  • Left for 2.7 miles to the junction of Johnson Ferry Road and Paper Mill Road.
  • Left onto Paper Mill Road for 3.0 miles, entrance will be on the left.

From westbound Interstate 285

  • Take exit 24, Riverside Drive.
  • North For 2.3 miles to Johnson Ferry Road.
  • Left for 2.7 miles to the junction of Johnson Ferry Road and Paper Mill Road.
  • Left onto Paper Mill Road for 3.0 miles, entrance will be on the left.
