Itinerary:

Come join me for an exploration of Gibbs Gardens - those that have been there before know what to expect, those that haven't you are in for a real treat - the place is beautiful, flowers far and wide - daffodils should be in full bloom, cherry blossoms too - only mother nature can tell when the best days will be but the date I have chosen shoud be right in the mid of the blooming season for daffodils and cherry blossoms. 

 

We will be walking around at a very leisurely pace - enjoying the property, exploring all the gardens, some in bloom, some not but sure all will be beautiful.

COVID-19 - please be respectful to AOC members and others at Gibbs Gardens- keep social distance at least six feet   Please be advised that attendees of AOC events should have face coverings on their person, in the event they are unable to maintain a physical distance of 6 feet. 

While not required EXCEPT in Gift Store and restrooms, masks are highly recommended as you enter/exit the Gardens.

Although this is a paid event, you do not pay through the AOC. You will be responsible for purchasing your own ticket - it's $20 adult/$18 senior - you must go on-line to https://www.gibbsgardens.com/  click TICKETS/PURCHASE NOW

  • NO ticketing transactions occurring on-site. 

  • Tickets MUST be purchased before arrival.

  • Reservations are NOT needed to visit Gibbs Gardens.

  • Tickets are NOT date specific and may be used any day the Gardens are open.

  • Tickets can be scanned from your device or you can print them.

  • Valid ANNUAL MEMBERS do not need to purchase tickets, just show Membership Card at gate.

ADULTS (18 to 64 years old): $20 per person +tax.
SENIORS (65+):  $18 per person+ tax.

FROM INTERSECTION OF GA-400 AND I-285

  • Go north on Hwy 400 for approximately 30 miles to Hwy 369.
  • Turn LEFT onto Hwy 369 heading west.
  • Proceed approximately 12 miles and turn RIGHT on Yellow Creek Road. (See Big Canoe sign and tree nursery on left)
  • Continue on Yellow Creek Road 6.4 miles and turn RIGHT

 

 FROM INTERSECTION OF I-75 AND I-285

  • Go north on I-75 to I-575
  • Exit onto I-575 and continue north to Exit 19A-B (Hwy 20 East).
  • Exit 19A heading east toward Cumming.
  • Proceed 8.3 miles to Hwy 369.
  • Turn LEFT onto Hwy 369 and go 2 miles to 4-way stop.
  • Cross Hwy 372 and continue straight for 1.8 miles then turn LEFT onto Yellow Creek Road.
    (See the Big Canoe sign and tree nursery on the right.)
  • Continue on Yellow Creek Road 6.4 miles and turn RIGHT on Gibbs Drive GARDEN ENTRANCE.

Notes:

The Trip Leader(s) for this event has (have) elected either to personally collect the funds that event participants are required to pay, or to require participants to pay funds directly to a third party. No funds will be paid to the Atlanta Outdoor Club for this event. Therefore, by registering for this event, you acknowledge and agree to the following: (1) the monies paid by registrants will not be monitored, managed, or otherwise accounted for by the Atlanta Outdoor Club; (2) that the Atlanta Outdoor Club bears no financial responsibility for this event; and (3) you waive any and all claims against the Atlanta Outdoor Club, and hold the Atlanta Outdoor Club harmless for the loss of any monies you paid for this event.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, any paying registrant may request directly from the Trip Leader, prior to the event, a breakdown of funds collected, estimated expenses, and deposits made in anticipation of the event. Following the event, the Trip Leader must complete his or her financial accounting for the event, with supporting documentation, within 30 days of the completion of the event, and a paid registrant may request a breakdown of funds collected, money spent and supporting documentation after that time. If you are unable to obtain requested documentation, please contact the Director of Paid Events.

Cost Includes:

Tickets to be purchased directly from Gibbs Gardens at the gate.

Adults (18 to 64 years old): $20 per person + tax
Seniors (65+):  $18 per person + tax
Group Rates: $16.00 per person for an unguided group of 10 or more

Cash and credit card payments (Mastercard, Visa, Discover  and American Express) are accepted.

Tickets may be purchased at the gate on the day of the event. If driving yourself up to Gibbs Gardens wait for everyone to arrive before buying your ticket so we can get the group rate.

Make sure you hold on to your Gibbs Gardens one-day ticket. If you enjoy your visit to the Gardens and are already thinking about coming back, we have a great value for you. You can turn in your one-day ticket ($20 for an adult) for credit toward an Annual Membership. Please note, you only can turn in your one-day ticket on the day of your visit. That’s right—unlimited access to visit Gibbs Gardens during regular hours. Come for an hour, an afternoon or an entire day—whenever you get the urge. Membership entitles you to attend all events that take place in the Gardens free of charge.
