Itinerary:

 

I recently did this hike, but I wanted to come back when swimming could be a thing... this is the day!

We will meet at the Clemmer Loop, south trailhead to begin our adventure. We will start on the Clemmer trail in a clockwise direction. We will stay on the Clemmer loop until we meet up with the Benton Falls trail. First we will head away from the falls for a quick sojourn at McCamy Lake. After enjoying the lake we will head to Benton Falls where we will enjoy our lunches. After the falls we will do a semi-bushwhack to get to the Clear Creek trail to continue our loop. Once we intersect with the Scenic Spur trail we will do a few creek crossings before reaching our swimming hole at the second waterfall of the day.

We will be crossing creeks, viewing waterfalls and vistas and even going for a quick swim if the weather permits. 

Definitely bring some water shoes for the creek crossings!

This is a difficult hike, recent strong D5 experience is required to join the fun.
