When I first joined the AOC I thought people who did this hike were crazy. Now I am one of them. Join me and find out why 17 miles at Kennesaw is a GOOD THING!!
We will meet at the OVERFLOW PARKING lot, NOT the visitor center. Please see the link below for directions. We will go up and over the mountain to start the day followed by a FAST trek on the flatter portions of the hike. We will be cruising at over 3 mph off of the mountain. Somewhere along the way (perhaps at the Illinois monument) we will be stopping for lunch. Recent D5 experience is required to join the fun. Only sign up if you are ready for a fast hike! | |||||||
