Weather for Thursday is looking great.  Let's hike !

Please join me for a hike through the beautiful trails of the Vickery Creek unit of the Chattachoochee River National Recreation Area.    We will start at Riverside Park in front of the bathrooms.  Parking is free. 

I am planning on hiking a moderate steady pace with only a few stops to gather up and hydrate.  Please be sure you can keep a steady pace.   We will start by walking up a short street to enter the park and will return differently.   The plan is to do all the trails at Vickery looping back and forth and visting the waterfall and both bridges. 

There are some moderate climbs but nothing too hard.   The trails have rocks and roots so hiking poles are helpful.   

Temps are rising, please bring plenty of water.
