Itinerary:

There is a window of opportunity to get in some cool, dry weather at the nearest tallest mountain at Standing Indian 5500'. I have a campsite reserved for Sunday night at Standing Indian Campground. We will spend the night and then hike the Kimsey Creek/AT/Long Branch loop up to Standing Indian Mountain and back. 

You could drive up early Monday morning 2.5 hrs. We will start the hike at 9am. (day use parking, $2.00)

Monday's weather is mostly sunny with highs in the mid 70s, (in the mid 60s on top of Standing Indian Mountain.)  Sunday overnight is lows in the low 60s.

Carpool Cost: Estimated cost per vehicle for this event is $94.40 using a reimbursement rate guideline of $0.400 per mile. The total amount should be divided by the number of people in the vehicle, including the driver. This is a guideline, not a rule, for drivers but the cost should not be higher unless there are extenuating circumstances.
