Welcome to another silent hike event! Silent hikes provide with the opportunity to better immerse in nature and "quiet" our internal chatter. We also improve our listening and eye-foot coordination. We will start on the Roswell side where the parking is free, cross the covered bridge and up into the Chattahoochee National Recreation Area Park. We will hike along the creek for a view of the dam and then over to the Oxbo Road bridge and back. The silent part of the hike will be the first hour and a half. If is OK to greet other hikers on the trail if that is your custom. Read more about Tips for Walking Mindfully in Nature. Dogs are allowed (they can bark too). but they have to remain on a leash. We will meet at the covered bridge. On your way to the bridge you can find the restrooms to the left. | |||||
