Itinerary:

 

Lets meet on Monday morning for a brisk hike up Kennesaw Mountain- Big, little and in between.

We will meet at the Visitor's Center and go up and over to Burnt Hickory Road, take a short few minute break and come back to the Visitor Center.

 

Please arrive ten minutes early for introductions and remember that the parking lot is often full and you may need to park in the overflow parking lot.

We will be staying together as a group for this hike.

It takes about ten minutes to walk from the overflow parking lot so please allow this time.

A love of hiking.

Appropriate foorwear for hiking.

Water.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:

From exit 267 on I-75:

Take Canton Road Southwest toward Marietta for about 6 miles. Proceed to GA 5 for about half a mile and turn right onto Church Street Exit.

Drive about 5 miles  and turn left onto Old Highway 41.

In about 1.2 Miles turn left onto Stilesboro Road and the Visitor Center will be on the left.

If you need to park in overflow, skip the Stilesboro turn and drive 1/4 mile and overflow parking entrance is on the left.


Notes:

 

You have to pay for parking ($5.00) if you do not have a National Park Pass. Parking can be paid on the parking lot or in the Visitor's Center.
