Itinerary:

Another Trip Prep Hike. We will try to keep a pace of about 2.7 mph.

We will start at the Woody Gap parking lot with its famous pit toilet. We will head on the AT southbound past Ramrock Mountain, Gooch Gap and shelter and lovely Justus Creek to turn back at the 7 mile mark on the ridge just before Cooper Gap. We will retrace our steps and stop for lunch either at the shelter or the creek - I suspect the creek. Then we keep going northbound back to the cars.
