Itinerary:

Please join me for a hike through the beautiful trails of Vickery Creek.  We will start on the Roswell side and after going to the beautiful dam we will hike into the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area.        

We will keep a steady but slower pace.  If you have mastered D1 and want some elevation, this hike is perfect for you.  A great hike for beginners that can go the distance but not at a fast pace. This park is technical in some places as erosion has exposed rocks and roots.  Poles might be helpful.      

There are restrooms at this location.  Parking is free. 

Please arrive a few minutes early to check in and use the bathroom as we will leave on time.

We are meeting down at the covered bridge at Roswell Mill.  Directions are below.

Well behaved dogs are welcome but in accordance with park rules they must be on a leash at all times.

We are meeting behind the shops at the Roswell Mill Center where the parking is free.  It is where Hwy 9 (S. Atlanta St) and Hwy 120 (Marietta Hwy) intersect.  Keep driving down the road until you get to the big parking lot at the very bottom of the hill.  For a zoomable map or satellite view of that spot click the rectangular blue and green "event location" icon near the top of this article.
