We will start at the Visitor Center and hike over Big and Little Kennesaw Mountains to Burnt Hickory Road.  We will cross Burnt Hickory and wait for the rest of the group before starting the trails in the middle section of the park.

We will hike south from Burnt Hickory, turn right on the Hardage Trail and hike to the end at Dallas Highway.  We will turn back north on Noses Creek Trail and return to Hardage Trail at the bridge over Noses Creek, hiking Hardage in the opposite direction.  We will add some elevation on the Salem Church trail and return to the Burnt Hickory parking area for a short lunch/snack break. After our break we will cross the road again and hike over the mountain, back to the Visitor Center.  Be aware - there are no restroom facilities available after leaving the Visitor Center - only trees.

The average pace of this hike will be  approximately 2.7 mph.

Attendees should have recent D3 experience and sufficient endurance for a 10+ mile hike.
