Itinerary:

Please join me on Tuesday evening for a brisk hike. We will meet at the visitor center about ten minutes before the hike start. We will go up big Kennesaw and take a quick break for water then little Kennesaw, Pigeon Hill and then to Burnt Hickory Road.

We will take a short break to drink and get our wind before we turn back and return the way we came.

This is a D4 so previous hiking solid D3 or D4 is required.

The parking lot at the visitor center is often full so please give yourself time to part in the overflow lot, which is about a 7-10 minute walk.

Remember to bring plenty of water as it is essential to remain hydrated.

Headlights might be needed as it is getting dark early but the hike starts st 3:30 so hopefully, most of the hike will still be during daytime hours.

This is a rain or shine hike. The only thing to keep us from tackling this mountain will be thunder or lightening.
