Itinerary:

Let’s go see the beautiful holiday lights along Peachtree Street in Midtown. According to last year’s write-up, there are more than 200,000 lights in 10 different colors with more than 100 trees lit up, plus 22 Moravian stars ranging in size from 3 to 23 feet tall. The lights are spread over about 2 miles of Peachtree Street, so we will walk up and down the street to see them.

We will be meeting in front of Refuge Coffee - Midtown, which is on Peachtree Street between the Alliance Theatre and the High Museum of Art. The coffee shop won't be open, so we'll meet outside of it.

Please arrive early to find parking and join the group. We will be starting on time.

We will meet near the High Museum of Art and the Alliance Theatre, in front of Refuge Coffee - Midtown. The address is 1280 Peachtree St NE, Atlanta 30309, between 15th and 16th streets.

Options to get there:

1. Take Marta to the Arts Center Station.

2. Park in a paid lot near the museum and theatre. Or pay to park on Peachtree Street.

3. Park on the street somewhere nearby. This is what I will be doing. I will try to park on Peachtree Circle NE, which is one block east of Peachtree. Much of this street doesn't allow non-resident parking, but there are some areas that do. Wherever you park, read the signs carefully because parking rules vary by area and can change block to block.

Please allow plenty of time to park and walk to our meeting point. We will be starting the hike on time.
