Itinerary:

This is a great multi-disipline paddle that starts off easy...then gives way to class III whitewater as we eddy hop and surf from hole to hole along the world famous Chattahoochee River.
American Whitewater has the specifics for the last 3 miles and solid paddling skills are required. The first 5+ miles are a great warm up for the arms, body, mind and soul...We might stop at Goose S*** Island (near the Jump Off Rock) for a leg stretch and some nice wave trains. We wanna absorb as much of the rivers beauty as we can before we have to get back to the real world. So if you have what it takes to get on the list for this, c'mon. I have room to carry about 4 boats, that's why it's capped at this sized group. Otherwise if you're self-shuttling we can bring on more as room allows.

We are going with the flow so we'll pay close attention to the flow rates and releases at Morgan Falls USGS | Monitoring Station we are aiming for a minimum of 2,000cfs - but 7,000 is nice! Looking at MF dam release schedule we'll be at 1,800-ish...so it might be a lil scrappy

MF 2 PM

If you're shuttling with us notify me upon sign up and meet at the Put In around 09:30 the event is posted to start at 10 - but that will be between shuttle drivers. We'll drop off one vehicle that can haul 4 boats - but we can figure out the logistics if more join....we'll see how that shakes out between now and launch time. Those that want to arrive at the Put In and get shuttle back up after the event, arrive at the Put in before 09:30

.

Copied from an older event I hosted in the summer, after work so forgive any small oversights in times listed - this is a MORNING paddle
