Itinerary:

Please join me for a bike ride at the Big Creek Greenway.

Please arrive 15 minutes early and meet at the Marconi access point parking lot. We will group up, get situated, and start the ride promptly at 10:30 am.

This is a moderate-level out-and-back bike ride on the Greenway. We will begin at the Marconi access point in Alpharetta and head south for up to 8 miles before turning around and retracing our path back north to where we started. I will maintain a pace of 8-10mph, and we will ride together as a group at a moderate pace. Please be prepared to keep pace with the group. There will be breaks for hydration and possibly a restroom break at the YMCA if it's open.

Faster and more experienced riders are free to ride at their own pace and distance within the allotted time of the event. If you choose not to ride with the group, you must be comfortable doing so and know your way around the Big Creek Greenway. It's important to note that participation credit will only be given to those who return to the Marconi parking lot at the specified event end time.

We may encounter walkers and other bikers on the Greenway, so it's important to ride in a single file and announce yourself when passing others on their left.

The Greenway is mostly flat with minimal elevation.
