Join us as we explore the Dawsonville Wilderness area. We will seeing 5 waterfalls, crossing creeks and having a great time! This is an 11 mile hike with 2800 feet of ascent.

It has been a couple of years since I have done this trail and we will be starting at a different trailhead and exploring a few new areas. It is sure to be a fun adventure. We will be taking the loop CCW, mostly downhill to start and mostly uphill to finish. Somewhere along the way we will be taking a break for lunch and perhaps a short swim.

There will be 4 wet foot crossing on this hike, we will be stopping to change shoes. Be sure to bring some appropriate shoes for creek crossing (up to knee deep) or be prepared to hike with wet feet.

This is a strenuous, wilderness hike. You must have recent D5 experience to participate in this event.
