Itinerary:

A fun fast fat burning event! This hike is a woodsy hilly hike through Vickery Creek.

Vickery Creek offers a variety of trails, covered bridge, and beautiful views of the water along the creek at the dam, with occasional glimpses of wildlife.  We'll keep a good pace with brief pauses for water along the way.

This is approximately our route:

The trails at Vickery Creek are not easy.  There are several hills as well as trails with lots of roots and rocks that would prove very challenging for inexperienced hikers. If you have no record with the AOC, we will email you to make sure you aren't getting in over your head on your first event! Recent D2+ experience to join the fun. If you can't handle 7 miles distance, or you can't maintain a good pace on hilly terrain, you don't want to register for this event!  This is definitely NOT a hike for beginners!

Please arrive at least 10 minutes early for socializing and introductions.
