Itinerary:

Let's get out in the morning for a comfortably paced walk from Riverside Park onto the Boardwalk, stopping when we reach the Chattahoochee Nature Center and retracing our route. This will NOT be a fast hike;  rather it will be a very moderate walk.  If you can't slow down your pace, please skip this event and let others who need a slower pace have your spot. This is a good event for beginners!  No hills, easy footing (no roots or rocks), and a moderate pace.

We'll stop for pictures along the way and enjoy a chance to socialize with other members and get some fresh air.

The boardwalk and sidewalk are largely exposed to the sun, so wear a hat and use sunscreen.  Bring along some water, too!  We don't want anyone getting dehydrated.

We'll meet in Riverside Park in front of the bathrooms.  There is free parking in the lot.  Wear comfortable walking shoes. Poles are not needed and will just be in the way.
