Itinerary:

Happy New Year AOC! Let's start off 2025 on a healthy note!

I love this park -- it has scenic views of the Chattahoochee River and a nice mix of flat and hilly trails. We will visit the bamboo forest on this hike and stop to take a few photos.

This will not be a fast hike. If you want a super fast hike, then try another event. We will average between 2.5-3.0 on this hike. The elevation gain is 589 feet for this particular hike!

Note: This park does not have a public restroom, so please plan accordingly.

After the hike -- there is an option to meet at a nearby Starbucks for those who are interested in some extra social time and coffee! Starbucks address:  6350 Powers Ferry Rd NW, Atlanta, GA 30327 (Seven minute drive/2.8 miles from park parking lot)
