Itinerary:

We will meet by the restrooms as you enter the Parking Lot. After we do introductions we follow the gravel road until we come to Columns Drive Parking Lot with restrooms. From here we will follow a combination of the gravel road and the trail back to the Interstate North Parking Lot.

This is a holiday for a lot of people and this lot will fill up quicky. We will meet promptly at 8:50 am for a restroom stop and introductions. We will start promptly at 9:00 am.

This will be 2 laps of the grave road to get a little exercise before we celebrate the new year.


Required Items to Bring:

• Wear comfortable Clothing Layers and rugged Hiking Boots or Shoes appropriate for the weather - also, if showers are forecast bring light emergency rain gear.
• Hydrate well prior to the event and we suggest carrying about a liter of Water to drink along the way and perhaps a piece of fruit or other light snack.

Event Directions:

The parking lot is on Interstate North Pkwy just west of the Chattahoochee River and just north of 285.

It is not Powers Island, which is just across the river on the east side of the Chattahoochee.

You can use the address 2080 Interstate North Pkwy, Marietta, GA 30067.

There is a $5.00 per day parking fee for use of the NRA.
