Itinerary:

Let's start out our morning with a walk from Riverside Park onto the Boardwalk, stopping when we reach Willeo Road, then retracing our route back to Riverside Park. This will not be a fast hike, but it won't be a casual walk either;  rather it will be a moderately paced walk of about 2.5-2.8 mph.  If you're a fast hiker who can't slow down your pace, please skip this event, as I'd like to keep our group somewhat together.  Please note that the distance for this hike is a full 6 miles.

We'll stop for pictures along the way if we see anything interesting, and we'll enjoy the company of our fellow members.

The boardwalk and sidewalk are largely exposed to the sun, so wear a hat and use sunscreen.  Bring along some water, too!   The temperature might be chilly in the morning, so check the weather and dress appropriately.

We'll meet in Riverside Park in front of the bathrooms.  There is free parking in the lot.  Wear comfortable walking shoes. Poles are not needed and will just be in the way.
