Itinerary:

Join me for a morning hike at Kennesaw Mountain.

This is a nice but challenging hike, over big Kennesaw, Little Kennesaw and down to Burnt Hickory Road.

Lots of hills and some challenging sections of going through rocky sections.

We will stop at Burnt Hickory Road for a break and turn back to retrun to the visitor center.

We will likely be spread out but just need to finish the hike in the alloted 2.5 hours.

We'll meet at the Kennesaw Mountain Visitor Center, 900 Kennesaw Mountain Dr, Kennesaw, GA 30188. (The visitor center is near the intersection of Old Highway 41 NW and Stilesboro Road NW.)

The Visitor center parking lot is often full so we make sure to give yourself time to park in the overflow lot (about a 7 minute walk).
 

Notes:

There is a $5 parking fee at both the Visitor Center and overflow lots, unless you have an annual pass.  Be sure to display your annual or day pass on your dashboard, as both lots are routinely monitored by park employees.
