Itinerary:

We will start the hike from the parking lot outside of the playgound area of Mason Mill Park. The trail begins near the parking lot. We will walk along several creeks and streams, through some floodplains. past the old Decatur waterworks, through pine and hardwood forests, while we make our way along many trails. All but a very short distance of this hike will be on dirt trails, so bring appropriate footwear with good traction.

How to Get There:

Event Directions:

From the intersection of North Druid Hills Rd. and Clairmont Rd. drive 0.3 miles south (i.e. towards downtown) on Clairmont Rd. Turn left on Mc Connell Drive and proceed about 0.1 mile to a stop sign. At the stop sign turn right. After a very short distance the park entrance will be on your left.
