| This is a part of the Kennesaw Mountain Battlefield that many people have never seen. It's a refreshing change from the mountain climb, and less strenuous. The trails are relatively flat compared to Big Kennesaw, Little Kennesaw and Pigeon Hill, but the distance and pace of the hike will provide a great workout. Be sure to check directions. You will be parking at the Cheatham Hill parking lot - - NOT at the Visitors' Center. Be aware that there are no bathroom facilities at this location (though there is an abundance of trees!). Up to three dogs allowed on this hike. Park regulations require that dogs be kept on leash. Bags are provided in dispensers at the park for picking up dog droppings. We will walk this loop in the counterclockwise direction. | |||||

| Event Directions: | | Drive from Atlanta on I 75 to Exit 269. At the bottom of the ramp turn left on Barrett Parkway and proceed approximately 5.9 miles. Turn left on Dallas Hwy and proceed approximately 1.5 miles. Turn Right on Cheatham Hill Drive and proceed approximately 0.6 miles until its end at the parking lot. | | ||
