Itinerary:

Joyce and Lauren are back with a hike that aims to please. We'll split this hike in half; Lauren will take some zoom zoom folks and Joyce will take the "Mama Joyce" crowd. It's your choice whether you'd like to burn rubber or take it easy. But neither of these are beginner hikes.

zoom zoom: will be fast paced and should cover 5 or 5.5 miles

Mama Joyce: will be moderately paced and should cover 4 to 4.5 miles

There's a $3 parking fee at this location.  Be sure to have correct amount in cash to purchase a parking tag.  (Failure to do so is a $75 fine!)

Please arrive a few minutes before the hike is scheduled to start to check in. We will leave on time. We won't wait, so you'll have to catch up with the group if you do arrive late.

Water
Good hiking shoes

epi pen or inhaler if you require either (or both)

No flip flops or shoes without a backstrap

Poles (if you like to use them)
Sunscreen
Insect repellant

It's a good idea to wear long pants if you're sensitive to poison ivy.  Its growing season started early this year!

From northbound Interstate 75
- Take Exit 256 - Mt. Paran Road NW.
- Turn Left at Mt. Paran Road NW, go 0.1 mile.
- Turn right at US 41/Northside Parkway NW. go 1 mile park entrance is on your left.

From southbound Interstate 75
- Take exit 258 - Cumberland Boulevard.
- Turn right at Cumberland Boulevard, go 0.3 miles.
- Turn left at US 41 S/GA 3 S/Cobb Parkway SE, go 0.6 miles park entrance is on your right.

From eastbound Interstate 285
- Take exit 20 - Interstate 75 S, go 0.8 miles.
- Keep left at fork to Cumberland Boulevard, go 0.4 miles.
- Turn right at Cumberland Boulevard, go 0.3 miles.
- Turn left at US 41 S/GA 3 S/Cobb Parkway SE, go 0.6 miles park entrance is on your right.

From westbound Interstate 285
- Take exit 20 - Interstate 75 S/US 41/Cumberland Boulevard
- Keep left at fork to Interstate 75 S/Cumberland Boulevard, go 0.6 miles.
- Keep left at fork to Cumberland Boulevard, go 0.4 miles.
- Turn right at Cumberland Boulevard, go 0.3 miles.
- Turn left at US 41 S/GA 3 S/Cobb Parkway SE, go 0.6 miles park entrance is on your right.
