Itinerary:

Come and enjoy the first TGIF hike of the year at Jones Bridge Park! This is a D2 because we will cover a shorter distance, but we will keep a brisk pace, and stop in very few intersections. There is little chance of rain, but it will be cold (47°-30°).

We will walk along the river, then enters the woods, where we will head towards the pond. From there we will head back along the woods. In general, the trails are flat with some relatively easy uphill climbs, nothing with over a 150 foot elevation gain.

We'll meet in the parking lot at the very end of the entrance road.  Restrooms are available here. Please remove all valuables visible in your vehicles because there have been acts of vandalism.

Dogs are welcome, but in accordance with park rules, they must be on a leash.

Please bring water and your $3 for the parking.

From GA 400, take exit 7a, and head East 4.1 miles through the intersection of Holcomb Bridge and Nesbitt Ferry Road to the junction of Barnwell Road. Turn left on Barnwell Rd, and travel approx 2 miles to Jones Bridge Branch which will be on the right. Turn in and go a little over 1/2 mile to large parking lot at end of road.
