Itinerary:

Let's do Sope. We'll do about five miles at a moderately fast pace. 

This hike is not for beginners unless you can keep up a moderate pace with limited rest breaks.

Please be aware the bridge over Sope Creek on Paper Mill Rd is under construction and impassable. This doesn't affect most people trying to get to Sope.

You're welcome to bring your dog but please follow the rules. The Chattahoochee NRA requires that owners keep their dogs on a leash and clean up after their pets on the trails. Please cooperate with the posted rules. Dogs MUST be on leash at all times for this event

We will start on time, so please arrive 5-10 minutes early to check in.

 

Don't forget your $3 to park if you don't have a CNRA pass.

No flip flops or shoes without a backstrap please
snacks to fuel yourself
hiking poles if you dig 'em
sunscreen/bug spray according to the season and weather
appropriate clothing
epi pen/inhaler if you need one
