Itinerary: | |||||||
Island Ford is one of the nicest hikes along the Chattahoochee. It also was one of my favorite local places to hike before I joined AOC. We will hike 5-6 miles on several trails down to the river and back again. There will be a few hills, but nothing too strenuous. We will cover most of trails including the Sandy Springs "lollipop" trail adjacent to Roberts Road down to the river Canoe ramp area and back. | |||||||
