No excuses for NOT going on this hike. This is the perfect hike for beginners who can't handle speed, distance, or elevation changes yet. There is some slight rolling terrain, but we'll go at an easy pace, so it won't be difficult. This Sandy Springs location is a hidden treasure right smack in the middle of a bustling neighborhood off of Roswell Road. This trail is especially beautiful in the spring time, with lush trees and babbling brooks. It is still a little stark from the winter, but with your imagination, you can picture the beautiful setting it will soon become. This is an excellent hike for folks who want to get into hiking for the first time, who want to simply get out and enjoy the beauty of nature and breathe some fresh air without exerting themselves, or who want to begin hiking again after an injury. The trail is soft and free of roots and rocks. Veteran hikers are certainly welcome to join us, but please don't complain about the slow speed! | |||||
