Itinerary: | |||||||
Let's start the day off right with a mid morning hike at Kennesaw Mountain! We will complete just under six miles of hiking with plenty of elevation changes and enjoy the numerous views of the Marietta/Kennesaw area. If we're lucky and the day is clear enough, the Atlanta skyline will be visible. Faster hikers are welcome to go ahead at their own pace, but we plan on making a few stops to take pictures and catch our breath along the way. The hike will start at 10:00 AM, so please plan on meeting a few minutes prior to that time to check in. You can either park at the newer parking lot on old US Hwy 41 or in the main visitor's center parking lot, if you can get a space there. Allow a few minutes to walk from old US 41 parking lot to the visitor's center if you park there. | |||||||
